New car sales soar (UK)
UK car sales have risen again, with scrappage and soaring demand for 59-plate cars driving a dramatic increase in the number of registrations in September. July saw the first increase at 2.4%, August saw an increase of 6% and last month saw car sales rise by 11.4%. Figures reveal that 367,929 new cars were registered in Britain last month. That's an 11.4% increase over the same period last year,
